Hướng Việt Performing Arts Group proudly announces the 2018 Seattle Đàn Tranh Conference, to be held August 3-5, 2018 in association with the 10th anniversary Vietnam Essence of Yesteryear #10 on Aug 4, 2018. The conference should be of interest to Vietnamese đàn tranh lovers and students. Topics to be covered include: history and evolution of the instrument, the making of a đàn tranh, traditional and modern playing techniques, musical theory, and composition.
Classes will be conducted in either Vietnamese or English
